IFTA Versatility Awards Program - Youth Participation Program:
What it is:
A new program designed to encourage our young members to become more active in our club. It's an incentive
program designed to give equal opportunity to all of our members' children and grandchildren, regardless of age
or where they live.

It is a point system.  Young members receive points for each club activity they participate in -- with a few “extra credit”
points for 4H, open shows, etc. -- for getting their gaited horses/ponies out in the public eye.

High point winner will receive a State Line Tack gift certificate for $25.00!

Who is eligible?
All members' children or grandchildren aged 17 and under.

Does the child have to have a horse registered in his/her name?
No, this is designed to get the kids active in our club.  They can ride as many different horses as they wish.

How does my child sign up?
He/she should send his/ehr name, age, and address to Charla McCullough, Association President.
Charla will keep a point tally on all participants.

Is there a fee?
Not at this time, while we try to build interest in this.  There may be a small fee in following years to pay for trophies,
gift certificates, etc.

How is the winner determined?
For each club activity participated in, young members will receive pre-determined points, based on the scale below.

My child already shows in 4H, open shows, or does some other organized equine activity.
Can he/she receive credit for these activities?
Yes.  However, since involvement with the IFTA is the goal of the program, he/she won't receive as much credit as
they would for activities with the IFTA.

  2. Attend club meeting - 3 points
